We are a local North Carolina couple who relocated to the Asheville area from Raleigh. After several years of working on the concept for Rooted In Wine as a retirement like business so we could finally work together after 33 years of having our own businesses, we finally opened in the late spring of 2024.
Though Renata was a hair designer for over 35 years, her true passion has always been plants, flowers, and gardening. My previous business ventures included a landscape and grading company, a North Carolina wine distributorship and import company, a European classic car restoration and retail operation, and others.
Combining my wife's love of plants and art with my lifelong interest & love of wine then toss in some unique items we found while traveling together, add the local art, beers and artisanal products and every day becomes an interesting adventure. Cheers!
