Rooted in Wine is a locally owned wine bar and garden created by J and Renata, a North Carolina couple who brought their shared passions together after decades of working in different fields. Just 15 minutes from downtown Asheville, the space blends Renata’s love of plants and her beautifully tended wine garden with J’s lifelong experience in wine, offering a welcoming place to explore new bottles and enjoy wines by the glass.
With more than 200 curated retail selections and a rotating mix of local cheeses, jams, honey, art, and pottery, Rooted in Wine is a community-centered spot to unwind, discover, and feel right at home.

Wine Tasting - Kate Arnold Winery: Thursday, May 28
Join us at Rooted in Wine for our monthly wine tasting series. On May 28th we will enjoy a tasting with featured guest Jean Arnold, the owner of Kate Arnold Winery out of Columbia Valley Washington and Oregon in conjunction with Gwen of 3 Keys Distributing.
Enjoy 6 curated pours for $25 per person, with the flexibility to drop in anytime between 4:30–6:30 PM. The tasting will conclude around 7 PM.

Wine Tasting - Presqu’ile Winery: Wednesday, June 10
On June 10th, we’ll feature the wines of Presqu’ile Winery from the Santa Maria Valley of California. Presqu’ile is a family-owned estate winery known for producing cool-climate Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Syrah that reflect the land, seasons, and sense of place of the Santa Maria Valley. Crafted from sustainably farmed vineyards, the wines are celebrated for their freshness, balance, and structure, making them equally suited for the table or the cellar.

On June 25th, we’ll welcome a representative from the Paul Hobbs Winery portfolio in conjunction with Chris of Winebow for an evening featuring a selection of acclaimed wines from this renowned producer.
Paul Hobbs Winery is known for crafting distinctive wines from prestigious vineyard sites, with a focus on balance, elegance, and purity in every bottle. Their estate and grower-partner vineyards span a range of celebrated soil types and slopes, producing wines recognized for their depth, structure, and longevity.
