Rooted in Wine is a locally owned wine bar and garden created by J and Renata, a North Carolina couple who brought their shared passions together after decades of working in different fields. Just 15 minutes from downtown Asheville, the space blends Renata’s love of plants and her beautifully tended wine garden with J’s lifelong experience in wine, offering a welcoming place to explore new bottles and enjoy wines by the glass.
With more than 200 curated retail selections and a rotating mix of local cheeses, jams, honey, art, and pottery, Rooted in Wine is a community-centered spot to unwind, discover, and feel right at home.

Celebrate New Year’s Eve at Rooted in Wine on Wednesday, Dec. 31, with extended hours and an easygoing, festive atmosphere. Stop by for a pre-party glass of wine or stay awhile and keep things cozy all evening. We’ll be featuring a $9 French sparkling wine by the glass, plus a raffle for anyone who spends $20+. A perfect way to toast the New Year in Fairview.
